Wallace speaks out as new garda whistleblower comes forward

A Wexford Independent TD says a lack of oversight in our police force has caused a breakdown in discipline. Mick Wallace made his comment as it emerged a new Garda whistleblower has come forward. Issues she raised are in addition to a new dossier which reportedly contains two hundred fresh allegations which will be given to the Taoiseach. It's also reported today a high profile Garda whistleblower first raised concerns about alleged behaviour in the force in 2008. Sergeant Maurice McCabe made allegations which were investigated separately by the Gardai and the Garda Ombudsman Commission.
