Residents of White Rock Hill in Wexford Town have been hit with yet another water outage, prompting renewed frustration over repeated supply failures in the area.
The community, home to hundreds of families, has faced ongoing disruptions that many say have become an all-too-regular occurrence. Wexford TD George Lawlor is calling on Uisce Éireann to urgently invest in the necessary infrastructure to provide a reliable and consistent water supply. He has also raised concerns about the impact on new housing developments, questioning how additional homes can be supported when current residents lack basic services. He has described the situation to South East RadioNews as “beyond a joke”, & he is calling for immediate action to address what has become a serious quality-of-life issue in the heart of Wexford Town.
