Pressure is mounting at Wexford General hospital with 34 on Trolleys today.
INMO figures released earlier show a big jump in numbers compared to those seen last week with 20 patients in the emergency department and 14 on wards elsewhere. The figures in Wexford are the 4th highest in the entire country behind Cork university hospital, university hospital galway and university hospital limerick. Wexford General has seen fluctuating trolley figures in recent weeks, with today’s number among the highest recorded locally in recent times.
