Ferrycarrig native Ruth Codd is set to appear on the celebrity edition of hit reality show The Traitors. The 28-year-old actress will go head-to-head with a group of well-known personalities in the psychological game of deception, strategy, and elimination.
Ruth’s rise has been extraordinary. After a serious football injury led to the amputation of her right leg at 23, she turned to TikTok, where her comedic videos quickly went viral, earning her over 600,000 followers. This online success opened doors to acting roles, including Netflix hits The Midnight Club, The Fall of the House of Usher, and Creepshow. She is also set to make her feature film debut in the live-action How to Train Your Dragon. Now, Ruth is ready to take on The Traitors, bringing Wexford pride to the screen once again.
