Meanwhile, the Wexford Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals has warned that we must look after our animals during the bad weather.
They have asked that animals be taken from low lying areas to higher ground or inside shelter if possible when the storm hits. Domestic animals should also be kept inside if possible as they may go missing if left outside.
